SwiftComp:Composite Calculator Overview
SwiftComp is a composite material simulator designed to compute material properties for composite materials. The app offers a range of functionalities tailored for various models, including beam, plate, and solid models. Users can calculate effective beam stiffness matrices, A, B, D matrices, transverse shear stiffness matrices, in-plane properties, flexural properties, and more. Additionally, the app provides the ability to determine coefficient of thermal expansions for thermoelastic analysis. SwiftComp utilizes Gmsh as a mesh generator to create mesh and image outputs for visualization purposes.
The app supports multiple composite models such as laminate, unidirectional fiber-reinforced composite, honeycomb sandwich structure, and particle reinforced composite. With ongoing updates and additions to its features, SwiftComp aims to provide comprehensive tools for material property computations in composite materials.
